The Trouble with Hating You by Sajni Patel

This was such a good read. I love the exploration, and challenging, of Indian culture and societal norms. I usually don't like enemies to lovers but it was done nicely here.

Liya is such a strong, independent woman but she is vulnerable too and I'm so glad that her character development didn't rewind. Jay is such a great man and it was a relief to see how healthily he dealt with his trauma.

The plot has a good pace and I love the dual POV. I feel, however, that sometimes some of the events that occurred didn't have the proper reactions or any reaction at all.

Overall, I loved this book so so much and has made me want to get a man.

This felt like two books in one. The first half was sort of dull and didn't really pick up. But the second half was fantastic and I couldn't put the book down.

Overall it was okay. I wish the characters had more depth.

WHAT A FANTASTIC BOOK!!

This was a wonderfully magical journey, with such depth and meaning. The prose was exactly to my tastes, and mirrors my own writing style so much. The metaphors and symbolism were so well thought out.

The way each tale linked to the present story and past was genius! I was in awe with how everything was connected and it made sense! This book could have been confusing, but it wasn't. Everything was strung together so well and effortlessly.

And the characters! I loved the diversity and how each character had unique personalities and qualities. I truly loved them all.

The world building was exquisite and I could picture the entire story in my mind, like a film. Each intricate detail comes to life and really makes you resonate with the story deeply.

I wish I could experience this book for the first time all over again! Will definitely be picking up The Night Circus as soon as I can!!

I liked this! It was fun and dramatic with a hint of cringe but that's what you want from telenovas, right?

I loved the diversity in the book and depth of the characters.

Definitely will be reading the next book!

This book was like receiving a warm hug each chapter. It was heart-warming yet heart-breaking and I resonated with so much of the author's experiences.

I love learning about plants and animals, but I also love learning about people's experiences.

I will definitely be picking this book up again if I need some comfort, some reassurance.

Absolutely 5/5 stars.

Circe is such a wonderfully written book, so much so that you're transported into Circe's world. It's almost as if you are Circe herself.

I adore the themes of divinity or mortality, and how these mythical beings struggle with both.

And how the word 'love' was never used but expertly expressed.

I wish I could read this for the first time again.

This was a compelling read!

Short chapters helped to pick up the pace and keep you reading, though I was already struggling to stop reading.

The main character's narrative and motives are so that you believe her to be against all of this...until the end. A typical case of "never trust the narrator" but done very well.

The "twist" at the end? *chef's kiss*

I need to read more books of this genre!!

Why did this take me 2 months to read LMAO

Anyway, I loved this! The writing style took some getting used to, but once I got past that I was hooked!

The characters are very well fleshed out, especially Raikama omg. The plot flowed nicely BUT there is a lot of information overload near the end of the book.

The only downside is that the pacing kind of slowed down a lot in the middle, making the ending seem rushed.

Can't wait for the next book!

cute read

at first I thought this was merely okay, but as I read/listened on, I was attached to the two main characters and wanting to know what decisions they made with the evidence they had obtained.

I found it amazing how the story was told entirely through letters and without dragging on and killing the gimmick.

i didn't expect the ending but welcomed it, loving how it wasn't entirely too typical

a nice short read!
