A good mystery that kept me invested the whole time. Some of the twists and turns genuinely surprised me, and it was all-in-all a solid read.

Extremely thorough and beautifully written- the fact that it is written like narrative fiction really helped me get into it, but it almost made me forget sometimes that this was a real story of real people. And remembering that is sobering, because these people go through so much throughout the course of the book. I’m glad I read it, and it’s a great book, but not an easy read.

An interesting story, well-written and well-paced, but with such deeply unlikable characters.

Beautifully written prose with complex characters and an emotional and engaging story. I couldn’t put it down and read it in one sitting.

Well-written and interesting, but almost everybody involved in early social media/the rise of clickbait was such an obnoxious person so they’re not always fun to read about

I love all of Emily Henry’s books, but this one didn’t land as strongly with me as some of her others. Still a delightful story with fun characters.
