From Russia with Love had me on the edge of my seat and appreciating my husband's Russian ancestry! I'm not a huge suspense fan so this book is just really good! I love the cat and mouse banter between Kat and Vadeem. I will definitely be reading the other title in this series.

Mary's greatest desire is to be loved but when push comes to shove she's willing to fight for the chance to marry a good and godly man and hope he learns to love again. Barnabas is devastated by the loss of his first wife and love of his life, Ann. He strives to do everything in his power to honor her memory and achieve the goals they shared.

The fact that this beautiful story was inspired by the author's ancestors makes me love it even more. From the quiet life they live in England to their voyage across the Atlantic and finally carving out a foundation for generations to come in the colonies, this family pulled at my heartstrings and kept me glued to the pages chapter after chapter.

Obviously, this novella is oh so cowboy good! Mary knows her cowboys and feisty ladies and she even throws in a cute kid to boot! I can't wait to read the Cimarron Legacy series, this is a great launch!

I love stories like this! Two young people who grow up together and are attracted to one another but not always at the same time. This is a great prequel, boy meets girl for the parents of the Christiansen family series. I can't wait to read the rest of the titles in the series. Susan May Warren does not disappoint!

This book is a refreshing change of pace, I love the epistolary format! Dear Mr. Knightley has a rich and complex cast of diverse characters. Sam Moore's frank honesty and guarded emotions make me want to give her a big hug and maybe shake her a little bit. I have a huge soft spot for the socially awkward (or perhaps kinship is the more appropriate word). Sam matured and gained confidence as the story progressed. I found myself urging her forward as she began to form authentic relationships and find her own voice.

Love Takes the Cake had me seriously craving sweets (more than usual, which is a lot), especially snickerdoodles!!! This is the first Betsy St. Amant title I’ve read so I’ll be hunting down more of her work for future reads!

The Perfect Arrangement features Amelia and Nate who meet in a fender bender then get to know one another via email. I definitely feel a kinship with Amelia, she’s a bit awkward in social situations and prefers communicating from the safety of a computer! Katie Ganshert, you are on my list!

Love in the Details takes us to small-town Texas where estranged loves Josh and Holly meet face-to-face for the first time in the years since their long-distance breakup. I love Holly! She is compassionate and self-sacrificing. Becky Wade, you already know I love you!

Serenah courageously flees her abusive husband and creates a new life for herself in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She is smart, cautious, and hard-working. Serenah keeps her true identity hidden in order to protect herself but it would be hard to build authentic relationships when your life is full of secrets. I admire her for her bravery and savvy. She has a hard road to travel yet she doesn't give up.

One Thursday Morning kept me on the edge of my seat with the secrets and suspense. I look forward to enjoying more titles by this author (and dreaming of the Pacific Northwest)!

Defiance is making great strides towards respectability when preacher Logan Tillane and madame Delilah Goodnight arrive with very different goals for the town. All our favorite characters from the previous books are back and tenaciously building a future for their families. They say the darkest hour is before the dawn. A Promise in Defiance is packed with action and compassion.

I received a copy of this title from the author in exchange for an honest review. The opinions expressed are my own.

Elsie is a small town schoolteacher with a big heart and a healthy dose of wanderlust. She is devoted to her faith and committed to her students.

William Benton is a dedicated Pinkerton agent and new guardian of his orphaned niece and nephew. He is pretty rough around the edges in appearance and manners.

When Elsie agrees to help care for the children, she and William face the challenges of living in close proximity and unusual circumstances with secrets, danger, children, and attraction.
