Fantastic Book
I honestly think I’m going to really enjoy this series. It in some ways reminds me of the House of Night series. I absolutely love that series so if this series continues the way it has been i just know I’ll come to love it as much as the House of Night series!

love love love!
This book is a fantastic slow-burn enemies to lovers. I was so close to abandoning the book but around chapter 8 it started to really pick up and I truly enjoyed it. The end had me in tears. I was so happy with the ending though I wish their would’ve been more. It was absolutely outstanding.

So good!!!
I've read so many books with a similar plot line, girl gets kidnapped by the mafia. Girl falls in love with the mafia leader, every is peachy keen. This book though is different it gave me chills, I was genuinely surprised when the leader female Actually tried and escape, tried to fight them, even planned to destroy them. It was such a god book. Spicy scenes were on point, there was action and blood and more kidnapping it was so good! 10/10 would recommend for anyone who enjoys extra spicy dark romance.

⭐️ - DNF after at least 50%
⭐️⭐️ - finished, but a genuine waste of time
⭐️⭐️⭐️ - enjoyed while reading, but didn’t stick with me
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - enjoyable AND parts stuck with me
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - thoroughly enjoyed AND will be thinking about for a while.
While I did enjoy this book there are a few things that stuck out to me that were quite irritating.
Tilda Sherwood is a member of the most powerful family of witches. However, she is a null and has no magical abilities. She manages her family's social media presence. While using her matchmaker Godmother to find love, she keeps getting set up on dates with Gil Connolly. When she accidentally causes her sister's spell to glitch, she turns to her frenemy Gil Connolly and her two best friends to help save her family.
The story is light and humorous, with alternating POVs between Tilda & Gil. I enjoyed the unpredictable funny moments between Tilda & Gil. Tilda & Gil are dynamic characters who are definitely better defined then I first thought. Throughout the story Tilda & Gil both change and grow as they discover new aspects of themselves.
The world-building is well done, I can definitely in-vision the Sherwood home, the shops and Tildas’ Godmothers home. The main thing I couldn’t stand was the writing style, it was like Tilda was writing in a diary or journal and reading it out loud to us. It gave me very much P.C Cast House of Night vibes. Very much teenager trying to act grown if that makes sense. I mean she ended the book with XOXO, TILDA. Aside from that for the most part this book was great, I enjoyed it but I definitely won’t be thinking about this book again. To me there wasn’t anything note worthy.
Although I hate not finishing a series, I most likely won’t be reading book 2 when it’s out. And on the smut/spicy scenes in this I would rate it a good
