Wow. This was… incredible. The writing was beautiful, I’m now a huge Katherine Dunn fan and will need to check out her works. This story is tragic and the perspective is so pure. I’m sure I’ll have more to say soon but for now, wow.

I don’t understand the Invisible Man’s motivation. Probably my least favorite of the “classic monsters”. He’s just kind of a dick

Never got to read this in school! I see where a lot of survival horror stories got their influence from. This is a great commentary on how easy it is for things to unravel in desperate situations. I think the 1950s and British of it all made it hard to follow at parts and some very long winded scenes. But overall, interesting story and the ending was a cherry on top
