I loved this book and I couldn't put it down. The plot itself was nicely developed, the characters have complex and interesting stories, and the style itself (switching POV to main character) makes this the perfect YA thriller. Hyped to check out the Netflix show as well.

I absolutely adored this book!!! I have been taking notes and i learned so many interesting facts. And i love finally understanding some concepts i studied in high school but didn’t put them into perspective until now. It is well written, it has a lot of humour and a lot of practical examples. Definitely worth reading! I am really driven to dig deeper about coffee, dopamine, alcohol, batteries, and many more.

I'm Romanian, so this book made me sad and angry and proud and many other things. Learned a lot about the hardships my parents and my grandparents had to endure. Most of them I knew about - but many I didn't. This is definitely a must read. Well written and researched, truly a powerful book with an interesting story - a book that you cannot put down.

Very intense and very well written. Got shivers many times while reading. This book made me see the world differently - living privileged, you don't understand certain things about other people and this book made me feel ignorant towards social issues. I totally recommend it.
