An absolutely phenomenal end to what I believe is Feyre's part of the story (excluding acofas).

the war made it extremely heavy, but it was balanced by plot twists and characters from the previous books finally interacting.

so many moments where I was bursting with emotion, such a stunning read.

A true enemies-to-lovers arc, and so pleasing. Their natural scathing remarks turn fond, yet still sharp. After coming back to this series years later I really appreciate the ability to communicate that Feyre and Rhysand have. Although there are lies and betrayals, they talk and resolve the issue as adults deserving of immortality.
I absolutely adore Amren, Mor, Azriel and Cassian.

The ending made me put the book down and breathe through my anger, as somehow the expected failure of their scheme was so much worse than possibly imagined.

I am truly excited to see more of Elain, but particularly Nesta, and the unbreakable strength she seems to be made of.

Absolutely captured me from the very first page. Feyre is so driven and determined, yet so fragile and human, and I have the upmost respect for her. I love female rage, and I feel it so much through this book and the rest of the series. And speaking of rage, Rhysand has the unique ability to Absolutely infuriate me. I understand it's a character he was playing, a performance, but he really gave himself to the role. Feyre's language was tame compared to what I wanted to call him.
