Bad Sex: Truth, Pleasure, and an Unfinished Revolution by Nona Willis Aronowitz
3.0
Insightful and informative, this books was a blend of memoir and research essay. While there were definitely sections that gave me pause, the amount of information and history was a little overwhelming. I think I’d like to revisit this one again, in printed text, when I have more time to dedicated to appreciate the research and maybe connect more with the authors self-reflection.

There’s just so much going on, so much to process. It’ll take me a while before I’ve fully digested it. Maybe then my rating for this novel will increase. I’m still a little lost and overwhelmed by it all. Definitely a book I want to revisit
If an Egyptian Cannot Speak English by Noor Naga

This book raises a lot of questions. With Part Three naming many of them specifically. I can’t tell if I’ve lost of gained from going through only the audio version, as the writing style is progressive. But if you’re looking for something that will help look at the world and your life from a different perspective, this story just might be it.
