"He's strange, and she's sweet—what happens when the two collide?"
Carmen, the infamous "maneater" of Eden University, has spent years ruling the social scene—until her boyfriend, Micah, publicly humiliates her by breaking up with her in the middle of class. Determined to swear off men, she tries to stick to her resolution... but self-control has never been her strong suit. Not to mention, the judgmental voices in her head won’t let her forget a single mistake.
Enter Theodore Clayton—a former football star turned brooding, tattooed wallflower with dangerously good looks. He’s back at university only because of a deal with his father, and he’s the last person Carmen should be drawn to. But if there’s one thing about Carmen, it’s that she’s always full of surprises.
I really enjoyed this book! Carmen’s decision-making and behavior were questionable at times, but the author gave a fair warning—these are dumb college kids, after all, and that made it more realistic. Despite the length, I was never bored because the drama and chaos kept me entertained. The two voices in Carmen’s head? Absolutely hilarious. They added such a unique touch to the narration, and I loved that.
Now, let’s talk about Theodore—what a dream book boyfriend! He’s understanding, caring, and the way he respects women? Chef’s kiss. Some moments hurt on his behalf, but I loved how everything unfolded, and the way it ended has me even more intrigued.
Overall, I adored this book. If anything in this review piqued your interest, you need to check it out! For a debut novel, this was seriously impressive.
He’s the man in the shadows, the keeper of her heart. The one with secrets that should stay buried. But the truth about lies? Nothing is ever what it seems…
Dove Barlowe is a wildlife photographer who finds peace in the mountains—alone, just the way she likes it. Until one fateful night, when a stranger stumbles into her favorite sacred spot. Enter Reid Samuels, all mystery, intensity, and undeniable chemistry. One stolen moment, a connection that burns—but before he can even learn her name, she’s gone.
Fast-forward a few months, and guess what? He’s back… as her mother’s fiancé. Yes, you read that right. And if you think that’s going to kill the tension, think again. That fire? Still raging. That pull? Unshakable. And Reid? Oh, he’s obsessed—so much so that he’ll do things that would definitely make you side-eye a man in real life. But in fiction? Deliciously addictive.
Oh, and don’t even get me started on the mystery woven into this plot. You think you’ve cracked it? Ha! Trust me, babe, you haven’t. The twist will leave you shocked. And Tom? Ugh. Certified creep. But when the truth finally unravels? Goosebumps.
This story is the perfect mix of tension, obsession, and mystery. If you love dark romance with stalkerish vibes, suspense, and a story that keeps you guessing till the very last page, this one’s for you.
"He Never Wanted Love—Then She Walked Into His Life."
What happens when a ruthless, business-driven man who swore off love finds himself falling for a fierce, determined single mother and her adorable daughter? Well, let me tell you—Resolute by Liss Montoya delivers everything you could want in a romance and more!🩷
Vicente is a cold, calculated businessman, laser-focused on proving himself worthy of his family’s vineyard in Chile. But when his father drops an ultimatum—marry or lose everything—his world tilts. Enter Camila, his new secretary. She’s strong, fiery, and completely irresistible… and suddenly, his carefully built walls start to crumble.
This book had everything—an arranged marriage that turns into something real, a workplace romance filled with tension, and a single-parent storyline that tugs at your heartstrings. I adored both Vicente and Camila, but Ava? Oh, my heart. She’s the sweetest little girl, and watching her navigate so much at such a young age was heartbreaking.
From page one, I was hooked. This book made me laugh, cry, swoon, and definitely blush because, whew, the spice? HOT. Who knew we could do stuff with belt buckle??😂 IYKYK. And can we talk about the vineyard setting in Chile and cocoa farm in Colombia? Absolutely stunning.😍
If you love a romance that’s equal parts sweet and steamy, filled with emotion, heart, and sizzling chemistry, Resolute is a must-read. I highly recommend it! 💯
This was quite an adventure—for me and, of course, for Stella! 😅
I really liked how strong Stella’s character was. She’s been through a lot, but she never gives up, and I admired that about her. She’s willing to do whatever it takes to protect her friends, even when secrets are being kept from her. After spending so long in the castle, stepping into the outside world is a whole new experience for her, and watching her piece together everything was interesting.
I also liked some of the side characters, especially Oatha—she was so good to Stella, and their friendship and reunion in the end were really heartwarming. I would have liked a bit more romance, but since this story was more about friendship and self-discovery, I understand why it wasn’t the focus. Felix & Noxryn seemed so mysterious and I wanna know more about them, maybe in next book?😍
The book had plenty of secrets, twists, and surprises, which kept things engaging. I didn’t always know what was coming next, which made it a fun read, and kept me guessing. And if you love fantasy adventures with mysteries to unravel, it’s worth checking out.
Enemies, Exes, and Unfinished Business—This Romance Sizzles!
A hate-to-love romance set in the workplace, a second-chance love story, and just the right amount of groveling—if you love any of these, this book is for you!
Vera has worked hard since childhood due to her economic struggles, and her grandfather is the only person who truly matters to her. I loved how strong she’s been throughout her life, but at the same time, my heart ached for her—both because of her parents and what Vihaan did in the past. But I loved how she made Vihaan suffer—it was so well deserved!
Vihaan, the charming playboy and media mogul, may act carefree, but deep down, he’s never moved on from Vera. And let me tell you—he grovels. A LOT. Honestly, I was so mad at him in the beginning, but watching him struggle and work to redeem himself? So satisfying.
The banter was amazing, and the spice? Perfectly done. I did feel like it dragged a bit when Vera kept resisting Vihaan for so long, even when her feelings were obvious. And I was a little disappointed with the reason for their breakup. But overall, this was a great read, and I do recommend giving it a try!
Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated
5.0
OH. MY. GOD. I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS BOOK!!!
I finished it yesterday, and I still can’t stop thinking about it. It’s that freaking good! Every single thing about this book had me hooked—from the characters to the tension to the intricate plot twists.
Let’s start with Meryn. She’s headstrong, beautiful, and fiercely determined to save her sister. I adored her resilience and the way she never backed down. Her mother? I knew something was off, but I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. There were so many subtle hints sprinkled throughout, and when everything clicked into place—mind blown.
And then there’s Prince Killian… I won’t spoil anything, but trust me, you need to read this book to find out.
But Stark??? Oh. My. God. He is so freaking hot. The tension between him and Meryn is insane—and they don’t even kiss! He’s brooding, intense, and the definition of an alpha, sworn to protect the royal family. He spends most of the book angry, but when his emotions finally break through… my heart. I felt everything.
The story itself kept me on edge the whole time. The bonded trials, castle secrets, and direwolves (which are like wolves, but way bigger) added so much depth. I was so immersed that I felt like I was living in the book. And despite its length, I never wanted it to end—I loved every detailed moment.
Meryn’s interactions with Anassa were both hilarious and heartwarming, and I loved how their friendship mirrored each other. The twins, the shifting pack dynamics, the slow unraveling of secrets—everything about this book just worked.
This story has permanently claimed a place in my heart, and I am desperate for the next book. It’s easily one of my top-tier reads, and I highly, highly recommend it. Just go. Get it. Read it. You won’t regret it.
I’m absolutely in love with Ramsi and Corla! Ramsi—oh my god! The moment I first saw him, I just knew he had my heart. I don’t care if he’s a monster, if he’s killed people, or what cruel things they say he’s done—I refused to believe it. Deep down, I knew he was good, and he can never do those things.
I won’t spoil anything, but this story had me completely hooked. I loved Corla—her strength, her unwavering love for her mother, and the lengths she was willing to go to for her. And her mother? Just as strong, fighting to protect Corla on her own. Their bond was so powerful, and I adored every bit of it.
The blend of college setting and different realms was executed perfectly. The whole story felt like an unraveling mystery—I was constantly on edge, trying to piece everything together. The twists and turns had me glued to the pages, and when Corla said it felt like an eternity, I felt it too. The writing is just that good—so immersive, so surreal.
As for Lycaster and Ezra? Hated them. And that ending? Absolutely broke me. I need the next part ASAP! If you are someone who love romantasy with complex characters, high stakes, and an addictive plot, you need to read this book. I’m obsessed!
This is exactly what I was hoping for after that cliffhanger in the first part! I was eagerly waiting for the sequel, and it did not disappoint—I loved it! We get to see more of Adam’s emotions, and of course, Jessica remains as sweet as ever.
Though it’s a short read, it’s incredibly satisfying, especially watching Adam’s character growth. And that "fuck it" moment? Absolutely amazing! I love when MMCs do that. The charity gala scene had me completely hooked—I adored every second of it.
Overall, this was a fantastic, fast-paced read, and I cannot wait for the next part because I need to know what’s behind that door! I highly recommend this book, but maybe wait until all parts are out—trust me, you won’t want to be stuck on these cliffhangers!
First off, I loved Angel & Nikolai’s meet-cute—though, let’s be real, it was more dangerous than cute. But that just made it even better! Nikolai was obsessed with Angel from the moment he saw her, and you know I love a “he falls first and hard” romance.
Angel is such a contradiction, and I adore it. A nurse by profession, yet she has a dark passion for t#rture, raiding warehouses, and running ops with her crew. She knows how to hold her ground, never backs down, and that resilience? Chef’s kiss.
Now, let’s talk chemistry—whew! The tension between Angel and Nikolai was insane 🥵. The spice? Off the charts. Sp#nking? Oh, there’s plenty. It’s an arranged marriage, but the intensity between them made it so much more.
Also, can we talk about banter between Nikolai’s brothers? Loved their dynamic. Also loved other side characters, especially Hanna. That speakerphone scene in the beginning had me dying—so freaking funny. Plus, the way Nikolai was patient with Angel? Swoon.
The story did feel a little familiar since I’ve read another book by this author, but I still enjoyed every second. If you love arranged marriage, B#SM, and mafia romance, you need to check this one out!
