I'm giving this a one star only because I have to - ideally,if possible, this book would be getting 0 stars.
Yes,it was that bad.To start with,I was completely lost throughout the book and couldn't keep up with the storyline.I still pushed through, hoping that the end would change my mind but I stopped when it came to the intimate scenes between Drocco and Cailyn.
Oh wait sorry let me rephrase that,my bad - they weren't intimate scenes...Drocco was forcibly having sex with Cailyn in a VERY violent way, which in fact, constitutes as rape fyi.
So basically,I DNF'd this book because I am utterly disgusted and I can't even fathom how people could ever like this book.I think it's safe to say that I won't be touching any of this author's books based on the extremely violent and toxic relationships the MCs have in this one and I absolutely do not support writers that have the gall to write about forced sex/rape/sexual assault and portray it in a positive light/as if it's ok to do that particular act.
A word of advice if you haven't gotten the message yet - DON'T READ THIS BOOK.Ever.

Ngl but I didn't feel like this book was worth all the hype.I had to push myself to finish reading it and I literally skimmed the last couple of chapters cuz I was getting bored - it really wasn't my cup of tea tbh.
I felt like both the characters were pretty immature and insensitive at times and I found Lilo's relationship to be pretty toxic.
I appreciate the fact the authors managed to show rather than tell how much an addiction can impact one's life - may it be a sex addiction or an alcohol addiction.
However, more often than not,I found myself confused and trying to put the pieces together while reading Lily and Lo's story.
I doubt that I'll be reading the next books in the series because I don't feel like wasting my time and energy on that.
I did read a couple of spoilers though, regarding the other books, and have gotten to know that there has been massive character development - especially for Lo it seems.
As happy as I am to see those positive reviews and for the MCs to develop in the series,it simply isn't enough motivation for me to continue reading the other books.
Overall it was an okay-ish one time read for me personally.I really expected more from this book.

I'm honestly not surprised at the fact that Elle Kennedy has managed to deliver again.
I keep thinking that I couldn’t possible fall even more in love with her books - but then she goes and proves me wrong.Again.
Logan and Grace own my heart and are literally the most precious couple to exist on this planet Earth.
All I can say is that I'm glad to have finally read an amazing book after going through quite a few disappointing reads.Felt like a breath of fresh air ya know?
I've said it before and I'll say it again - Elle Kennedy is a genius and I am absolutely and utterly in love with her work.
The fact that I had held off reading The Mistake for several months after The Deal, but managed to finish it in less than a day does not baffle me at all at this point.
Watch me devour Dean and Allie's book in the same way lmao.I'm sure that it's going to be as phenomenal,if not more,as the first two books.

I'm in love.Yes,you heard me right.I'm in love with Dean.I'm in love with Allie.I'm in love with Elle Kennedy. And I'm not even embarassed to admit that at this point lmao.
If you know me,you'll know that I am a sucker for hockey boys...especially alpha male hockey players. And this is exactly what this book was.
It was the perfect mix of hot yet sweet and had me completely hooked from the first page.I also wanna add how proud I am of Dean especially and for how far he's come throughout the book.I mean y'all...the character development in this one was just *chef's kiss* <3
I don't think I need to say any more tbh.Just go and read this book like right now and stan Elle Kennedy cuz she's a kween obv.

P.S. I'm not at all shocked at the way I'm devouring these books like a deprived person hehe.So watch me finish Book 4 cuz that ending in Book 3 left me hanging and I cannot wait to binge Sabrina and Tucker's story :))

Did I just finish reading 3 books in 3 days?HELL YES.
Do I now have 4 new fictional boyfriends/husbands?YUP I DO.
If I ever had to pick a fav couple from the entire Off Campus Series,it'd def be Tucker and Sabrina.I connected with Sabrina in ways I nevet thought I could. My poor girl struggled with letting people in her life after being let down time and time again.I'm glad that Tucker waited for her and didn't push her, being the patient man he is - because honestly,I don't think my heart could handle not seeing these two end up together with their HEA.
Also don't get me started on baby Jamie.I just really wish I could squish those tiny little cheeks of hers and shower her with so much love.I've got serious baby fever y'all lmao.
Ngl there were so many instances throughout the book where I felt like pulling my hair out,but I'd reassure myself that these two would end up together. And lemme just say that the patience was so worth it.
I usually rave about dark, tatted broody alpha males but sometimes I think I'd really like a bit of a southernly gentleman for meself ifykyk ;)
I loved the way Elle Kennedy managed to get all the nitty gritty details right - and yes,I'm talking about the part where the professor asks about the Carlill law, which fyi I happened to study this year as well.So watch the inner nerd in me fangirl lmao.
Tbh,if you've made it this far,I just want to let you know that if you haven't started the Off Campus series yet, then you're wasting your life sweetie.
Not kidding when I say that I would buy Elle's grocery list if I could. She's that good besties!!!
I am so buzzed for The Legacy to drop in a few days and I cannot wait to read again about my all time fav couples <3

Ngl but I was expecting more from this book as soon as I read the blurb.
Nonetheless I'd say that it was a good read - even if it wasn't one of my top reads of this month.

Tropes you can expect:

- Single mom
- Teen pregnancy/secret pregnancy
- University romance
- Sports romance
- Coach's daughter/forbidden romance

Idk if I'd recommend this book since the writing style or plot didn't really appeal to me,personally.
