Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.

It might have been the audio format. Might try again one day in print because there was a lot to enjoy, but I just couldn’t get into it.

A super fascinating look into the history of magic and its practical uses in daily life. Pretty academic, but not without its humor. The author clearly has a love for the subject, which made this all the more fun to read!

I’ve read this book in print, but listened to this one with my husband and it was a delight! I’m completely smitten with this entire series and will likely return to it again and again.
