This book is a must read. A well paced, emotional, and impactful read that highlights the horrors of racism, Islamophobia, and misogyny in our country today. It also highlights the strength of community, courage, and hope.

This book is a beautiful balance of drama and comedy. And at the core of it, is an unlikely friendship that drives the narrative. Really, that is the what truly drives this book, the friendship between Ryland Rocky. This beautiful little book shows the power of love and friendship and what we would do for the ones we love. One of my favorite reads!

Ashley Herring Blake outdid herself with this a sequel to Delilah Green. She rights complex characters with such empathy and brilliance. My love for Astrid and Jordan knows no bounds!

An informative read that highlights the role of religious institutions in regards to racial segregation and redlining. For any person, or Christian, who wants to learn more about how the American church plays a role maintaining segregation and oppressing black people, this is the book for you.
