This book was superb! I absolutely loved the balance of world building, plot movement, character development and the romance. This truly is such a well done romantasy book! I was a little confused by the very end, but it was definitely great set up for another book to come. Amalie has been a favorite of mine for historical romance, and this is such an impressive change to then write so well. I can’t wait to recommend this to everyone!

This book was so well done. I don’t think I have words for how much this book truly touched my soul. This book takes a look at so many things about being human, like emotion, connection and family. In this dystopian society displayed in the book cities are owned by a corporation & all humans living there are obsessed with productivity & are controlled by the corporate entity through drugs & money. But then one girl searching for a better life, Liv, goes on a journey that will change her life forever. Watching Liv and Adrian, who ends up on the journey with her, grow & change throughout this story was so special. Being away from the city they are truly able to tap into what it means to be human, which starts with connection & the beauty in small moments. I just cannot get over how much I loved this story. If you want a young adult science fiction novel based in a not so distant dystopian world, then this is for you.

This was a fun read. Just like the others in this series it was full of longing and spice. I didn’t connect with these two characters very much, but it was still a fun read. I didn’t love the idea that the female main character would just randomly buy a farm with no idea how to run it and then would need a man’s help to fix things, but that didn’t completely ruin the story for me. If you’re looking for a quick, easy read with some spice and small town vibes then this is for you.

This story is such a perfect marriage of convenience story. The characters are both so great and I love seeing them both open up throughout the story. Also the slow burn is done so well in this! The audio narration was so perfect for how I thought these two would sound and that added to the story for me.

This was really cute but I also kept yelling at the FMC the whole time for not realizing such a big piece of this. I thought this overall was really cute

This felt like insta love and I really wanted to like it more but it just felt awkward in spicy scenes and I honestly couldn’t tell you much about either of the characters except that one has trust issues and the other is super into relationships
