only minor issue for me was that there's no mention of solanas and of the "feminist sex wars", but that might be because i have Specific Areas Of Interest.

just because something is set in an elitist university programme and someone gets murked doesn't mean it's "like secret history". it's not like secret history. oliver is pathetic, yes, but he's too little of a wet cat and too much of just annoying as shit.
disregarding that. good bits: the screenplay-like dialogue markers, the act composition.
meh bits: everyone in this book is annoying in a bad way except for like, wren. the story genuinely felt like the author suddenly remembered that hey, the kids are being investigated by the cops way too late into the book.
