My Sister, the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite

this book is unlike anything else I’ve read before. Having it from the sisters perspective was really eye opening because you never see how serial killers effect others. I feel like they are always a background. I wish the ending had more resolve. It left me wanting more. I listened to the audiobook and it was a quick and easy listen!

This author is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I love how all of her stories tie together in some way. The story of Theo and Maddie was SO relatable. Theo is an uptight businessman beau and Maddie is a talented headstrong woman. What could go wrong?

Truly original thriller

This was a truly original story by Brianna. I had no idea what I was getting into and it truly made a turn for the best. I absolutely loved the twists this story took. My biggest complaints are that I did not love the cult aspect.

honestly this is 4.5 stars just because I’m super picky about 5 star books. Alexa and Drew made the perfect modern love story. They show how messy falling in love can be, especially in 2020. I finished this in one sitting and I could recommend this more! If you loved the Hating Game and need a similar read, this one is it! #juneblmchallenge

I fell in love with Mike within the first ten pages. He was extremely lovable and you rooted for him from day 1. This book is so important. I kept highlighting multiple pages because I wanted to remember them forever. Highly recommend!

Did you know “Liv” is actually 2 sisters that wrote many a book together over FT & email?! Insane what these sisters can do! I absolutely loved this story. I was shocked so many times I audibly gasped which is a good sign for a thriller.

The way the author writes about grief and loss seriously gutted me. It’s not something I normally reach for but the writing was beautiful. Do not read while on an airplane.
