Shadows by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I love this series so much. I read these book a few years ago and now that I'm re-reading them they are still a series that I can't put down. I recommend reading this book after the first novel, Obsidian.
this book is a fantasy-romance novel revolving around Dawson Black and Bethany Williams who fall instantly head over heels in love with each other. Dawson is being warned left and right not to get too involved at risk of revealing their secret and putting her life in danger but he can't and won't resist. This romance novel kept me on my toes as the two teens went from puppy love to soul mates.

the beginning of the book was godly slow and getting used to reading the Shakespeare quotes made me want to gauge my eyes out. but once I got to Act 2 I was hooked such a good book and I was not expecting that ending.

oh my lord!!
I absolutely loved this book the characters, the ups and downs in her recovery. f*cking beautiful. as someone who has had depression and still struggles sometimes this book brought me so much comfort.
"sometimes we can get overconfident when things seem to go well, and we might not recognise the danger signs that could derail our progress."
in the beginning of this book I would've said that this was an amazing read for everyone, however now that I've finished it id say it is meant for those that may relate to this book or that have friends/family that are suffering with troubles.
