was this necessary? no. was it still a cute, fun time? absolutely! i love these characters so much so anything in this world i’ll end up and likely enjoy, tbh. not completely up there with the main series books but still wonderful nonetheless and i think i’d like it even more if i read it at christmas!

i’m sad i didn’t like this as much as the others, especially when i love isabel and cole so much. i just didn’t care for the reality show, isabel really enraged me a lot throughout the book, and i didn’t like the handling of the supernatural aspect (one of the big part that i loved about the trilogy). loved leon & sofia though.

Compared to the final half, the first half was slow, but immediately got my attention and got me out of my years long book slump. I had a fantastic time with this and can’t wait to continue the series.

I considered giving this 5 stars, but since I have high hopes that I’ll enjoy other books in the series even more than this one, I’m giving it 4.5.
