I can’t stop smiling.

This is okay. I hope it gets better in further volumes.

This is a collection of three short “turns out..” stories, which are moderately entertaining. If you have a coffee ready and 20 - 30 minutes to kill, try this.

I haven’t been writing reviews that long but this book was completely average, right in the middle of the scale. I don’t get why you would spend a great premise and good momentum in exchange for mediocre, forced and irrelevant character development? It’s like going at a 100kmph seeing a bunny at the side of the road stopping completely to look at it for few hours before getting on with it. There has to be a better way to give character backstory than forcing one to explore it. Other than that the world building was missing. Details dammit. If you are creating a world of magic, I’d like to know some constraints before you go and break them. Had there been some constraints the ending would have certainly landed better.

As a self help book it’s alright. It hits all the usual notes and quite well at that. If you think you fall in the demographic for this book you should definitely read it!

I’m fan of the writing of the last ten pages of the book. It’s like they are summarizing the entire thesis and they do a brilliant job at that.
