What an incredible combination of queerness, horror, tragedy and gore! Some parts of this story can be hard to read for some, so please check your triggers! That being said, this book was so moving and so gruesome at the same token. I personally struggle with historical books, but once this book grips you, the world falls away quite easily and quite completely. There was no pulling me out. Incredible read. I also loved the authors notes. Trans rage is one of my new favorite book themes!

Mutt is the heckin lorge wolf baby of everyone’s dreams. His mix of sweet innocence, protective alpha, and man muscle will have you wanting throw yourself out the basement window 😩 I love him. And Jeffrey. Sweet Angel baby Jeffrey. He takes the weight of the world on his shoulders, and desperately hopes that no one will see his cracks 😭

Listen, I love these two so dang much. I was expecting to, of course. I already loved them in the first book. What I was not expecting, however, is the depth in which my love would manifest for them. Listen, Seb? SEB?! Yea, he needs to be protected at all cost. All. COSTS. He is the sweet baby Angel no one saw coming. And Larkin? He is the perfect mix of total dork, and sincerely sweet. This is a match made in heaven. This book was perfect. Tons of pining, some achy-ness, and still so funny! Dare I say it’s better than book one? And that’s saying a lot because I adored book one! And, there is a good chunk of book where you get to experience the HEA, which is very personal to me 🥹😍 so basically, what I’m saying is, READ THIS BOOK IMMEDIATELY!

Ugh, I just love Nyla in all her spicy, smutty, sinful, yet precious ways! This book is no exception to these expectations! The amount of times I cackled at a one of comment in the book with shocking. It was a great mix of hot, and sweet, with a dash of taboo. Loved it 😍

This is Chuck’s second traditionally published book, and boy is it incredible. Dare I say I enjoyed this one even more than Camp Damascus, which is saying a lot because that was also incredible. Bury Your Gays is a queer horror tale that will creep you out, while also opening your eyes! There is commentary here about much of what we face in the world, told through a horror lens. The story kept me intrigued from the very start. There is a fair amount of mystery, and the whole time the plot kept me guessing as to where it was going. Once things started to connect, it really made some powerful statements. I listened to the audiobook today, and that audiobook is INCREDIBLE.

Anywho, GO PICK UP THIS BOOK!

I realized something was off pretty much right away. It was a journey getting to the bottom of what was really happening. The story was romantic, smutty, and honestly pretty sad. An enjoyable ride. Check your triggers, of course, and keep your eyes open for the story to take some turns that you may not expect.
