Because it’s well into the series, author assumes we all know these many characters and I hadn’t read any other books. Impossible to follow character arcs. Lack of tension also didn’t pull me to read fast.

A life memoir written by someone who graduated high school four years ago just felt off to me. Writing style was quite immature and poorly written. I’d have loved to read this tragic story after she had more years of seasoning under her belt.
