I did feel like this one dragged a little in places though and just didn’t have my heart the way the first book did.

I absolutely adored the first book in this series, was one of my top fantasy reads of 2022 so I was so excited to get back to Fi, Briar, Shane and Red. I really enjoyed following the next stage of the gangs journey, Urgh and that cliff hanger ending, what a tease when book three is so far away!!!!
