This MG graphic novel translation was recommended to me after I finished reading Heartstopper and when I saw it was a Stonewall Honor I put a hold and I just read it all in one day! Cute and awkward and important for the MG audience about growing up and the difficulty that comes with maturing at different rates than your peers and friends starting to have boyfriends when you might realize you like girls instead.

Thank you to PRH for the advance copy. I’m a big fan of The Raven Boys series and this graphic novel adaptation is lush and beautifully crafted. It of course shortens the plot to most important and impactful moments which will make the story more accessible for some readers. Especially those who do not enjoy a lot of prose this tackles that barrier. Really enjoyed reading and experiencing the visual art as well.
