Rook & Rebel by Kate Crew

Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.
I was told lie about this book. This book does not meet the hype of Lights Out.

The mfc was naive and immature. Not anywhere smart.  The dirty talk was too cringy.

If you like dark romance, this book isn’t for you. It was like a grey romance.

If you like sci-fi and fantasy with izakei themes, this books is for you.

I enjoyed it so much despite how long it took me to read. I was waiting for the ebook.

I fell in love with the characters and I’m a little saucy about a few. The author knows who I’m talking about.

Were the chapters a little long? Yes.
Good character development? Yes.

For me, it was a slow paced book, action filled that made me hungry.

Can’t wait for the next one!!
