Where do I even begin? This book has made me feel all the feels. Shannon is a girl with the absolute purest of hearts. She cares so deeply about her siblings but she’s so afraid to live life and find her own happiness. Despite everything Shannon has gone through in her short life, her kind and caring heart doesn’t go unnoticed. Now Johnny has a heart of gold. He gives “touch her and die” vibes but for teenagers. He is the ultimate protector. He has the sense that Shannon needs protecting because no one else will do it. He sees Shannon for who she is and not what she is. I think my favorite character though honestly is Gibsey. Him and Johnny have the perfect bromance. They have each other’s backs no matter what. I’m not typically one to read stories when the main characters are teens, but this one worked for me. It made me want to immediately pick up keeping 13.

I needed a good pallet cleanser thriller and this did the trick! I don’t know about you but I didn’t see the twists coming. I thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. I was semi confused at the beginning between all the characters and plot settings, but once part two started it was full steam ahead. Narrator was great

What a freaking mess of a book but I couldn’t look away. It’s like a car wreck when you just can’t keep your eyes off. I live for the drama

I love Katherine’s books! This was entertaining. I love the narrator used for her books. This was more of a mystery and I think she executed it beautifully. Solving a murder at a dying hotel. Count me in!

I’m so glad I gave the author a second chance because The Dead Romantics was a dnf for me. I wasn’t a fan of but this one was so cute! It took me a second to understand the fling back in time and all of that but overall I loved the plot! I did not expect to get teary eyed either so that was a nice surprise!

Binge worthy! The twist in this one I honestly didn’t see it coming. Lucy was not crazy like everyone panned her to be. It’s disappointing learning her parents believed someone else over their own daughter on what did or did not happen. Justice was served.

My new favorite book by Katherine. I loved Charlie and Emma so much! The banter, the denial, the hardships. Emma learned to let go of things she can’t control and learned that it’s okay to live life and find her own happiness. Charlie learned to not be so stubborn and to not assume worst case scenario. They were a match made in heaven.

“After all, you were mine way before you were ever his.”

I finished this is a day and a half. I never do that. I couldn’t put this one down. The story was so beautiful. Irvel and Hank’s is the perfect romance story. Friends to lovers. But had to go through so many obstacles along the way to find eachother. From dating other people and then both going to war and thinking each of them have been killed. But it didn’t end there. Alzheimer’s was another war they needed to face. It felt very real. It was relatable. My grandfather has dementia and he was fixated on telling his war stories too and was set on getting home to his mom and dad. I felt such a connection to this story.
