"In my dreams, the children are still alive at school. In my dreams, they still play."
A fantastic poetry collection with reflections on partition & colonialism, family bonds and belonging, gender and racial identity, grief and loss, collectivism and hope for the future.
They are smart, honest, concise and powerful, and incredibly imaginative.

A concise and information-packed look at the past decades of US policy, practice, & attitudes on the occupation of Palestine, with a focus on the historical and political mechanisms by which Palestine has become an “exception” to so-called progressive values.

Provides an understanding of the bias and harmful rhetoric on the subject which makes it a useful tool for combatting misconceptions and stereotype.

It is dense as a result of the brevity, and does not significantly or adequately engage with neocolonialism or the ways that even “the left” benefit from and uphold empire.
