A decadent buffet of everything you love or will come to love about Roe Horvat's erotic writing. Each of the 8 stories is unique in pairings and tropes and comes with the added bonus of "if you likes this try this book" to help guide you to his other work you might like. This will forever be on my recommendation list for people wanting to dip their toes into the spicier side of omegaverse or monster romance.

Spooky, spicy and steeped in folkloric superstition. This T4T novella challenges the skeptic scholar, Finnian, to come to grips that the troubled love he left behind in his small home town can't be helped with modern medicine. This book is as unsettling as it is compelling from beginning to end and leaves you feeling like you just woke up from a nightmare you cant quite remember by the time you finish the last page. Prepare yourself for plants going places they probably shouldn't and a refreshing spin on trans horror-rotica that doesn't rely on the character's gender to push the plot.
Celestial Bodies: The Black Arts of Vexora by Blane Bellamy
Celestial Bodies: The Black Arts of Vexora by Blane Bellamy is an absolute home run of a debut novel. The worldbuilding is rich and intriguing . The romance is swoon-worthy and spicy. The characters, main and side alike, are so strong and worthy of love. (Shout out to the unexpected absolute badass that is our MMC's best friend Sousie).
This book filled me with a sense of nostalgia throughout. There is something so classic about the setting and flow of the story that it evoked feelings of old Frank Frazetta paintings but queer as hell.
I will say heed the warnings. This book has strong themes of bigotry, homophobia and on page instances of physical and verbal abuse by a parent. Our heroes fight tooth and nail to the very end and we are treated to a "Happy for Now" by the end of the book but without too much of a cliff hanger.
I am so eager to see where Blane takes us next!

This book was a buffet of queer joy. While there is a strong theme overall of finding peace after trauma our characters Addison and Colin have individually faced it did not feel like another installment of the trauma olympics. Instead we have unparalled examples of healthy communication, boundaries, and a supportive relationship that isn't steeped in codependance. I could see so much of myself, my friends and my chosen family represented in the book making it the most relatable story I've consumed possibly ever. I am wildly excited for the series to continue as there were definately hints here and there throught the story of possible future couples (and throuples?)
