Dragonsbane by Brady Hunsaker
3.5
Rating initially 3/5, rounded up to 3.5/5
Originally I DNF this book but I was intrigued to finish it so I went back.
I’ve stopped reading YA and I’m reminded why but I actually sorta enjoyed this one.
The premise is interesting, the main driving force behind Ven’s decision to go and investigate whoever this mysterious lady’s enemy, is that she knows what happened to his parents. Though by the end of the book, we’re still no closer to actually finding out why.
The characters had good development, and it’s obvious that this book is there to set something bigger up.
The only qualm I had was the perspective jumping every chapter felt very choppy and we didn’t know who it was until further into reading.
Would recommend if you like sci-fi, esc YA books, multiple POV, etc.
Thankyou for a copy of this ARC in return for an honest review.
