Very lackluster compared to the first book in this series.

I absolutely loved TTIGDASAD but this one seemed like a badly written fanfiction that barely had a plot other than pushing two side characters together. The "conflict" in this story lacked substance and felt like something that was thrown in just to "shake" things up. I listened to the audiobook at the halfway point and I'm not sure if it was the ridiculousness of the story or the narrator but I became completely turned off.

This was a big letdown.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 37%.
I was very excited to read this but I ended up not liking the writing style. The story didn’t catch my attention the way I thought it would.

I absolutely loved this!

This series has been on my watch list for some time and I am so grateful to finally give it a read. It was silly, steamy, and took me by the hand into a magical world of wonder. This past-paced read was a nice pallet cleanser that has me itching for the next two in the series.

This book was a breath of fresh air. As someone who is slowly getting into the world of high stakes rpg gaming, I instantly gravitated towards this book. The characters were witty, funny, and perfectly inperfect. With popular tropes such as forced proximity and fake dating, Kristy Boyce’s writing had me in a chokehold. I literally read this in one sitting. From a gamer girl who occasionally vibes out to musicals, this book just hit different. I had such a good time reading this and highly recommend.
