Unfortunately, the writing and I just don't mesh well. It seems as though the author tries to make a play into humor, but it doesn't come across very well, and instead, feels forced and a bit boring.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue I took with this one was the writing style. From the first 7 pages, readers are quite literally thrust into a clunky writing style that is set up in the format of "I did this... then I felt this... and suddenly, this is happening..."
I think that there needs to be a bit more editing before publication due to this, as it comes across as overwhelming to me.
And maybe this would be a better fit for other readers who like that type of writing style, but this wasn't the read for me.
