This was a small town, saucy good time.
It wasn’t anything groundbreaking, but i had a great time during. If you’re looking for a small town romance with a MMC with a dirty mouth this one is definitely for you.
The audio narration was well done and i stayed locked in the entire time. I enjoyed the narration and i would recommend audiobook for this!
You’ll find:
-Jilted Bride
-Fake Marriage / Marriage of Convenience
-Small Town Romance
-Forced Proximity
-Grumpy / Sunshine
-Found Family
Def would recommend if you’re wanting something quick and fun with spice! 🥵

this was… okay?
It felt like a big different path down the romcom path. I didn’t feel connected to either of the male MCs. The one was TRASH, and the other was just fine? i didn’t find myself cheering for him or not liking him. He felt really surface level and forgettable.
The FMC was the strong, resilient and body positive, so i did enjoy that, but I didn’t feel very connected to her. I wanted more.
The book as a while was spicer than I expected it to be, which was fine but I feel like the book fell flat when the spice started.
Narration: this wasn’t my favorite audiobook. I felt myself disconnected and the narrator felt like she wasn’t connected to the story and because of that it was hard for me to feel invested.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad book. I enjoyed the story. The characters and plot just fell a bit flat for me and wont be something i think about or remember. Not good, not bad. Was just fine?

I had a good time with this audio. It was an easy listen, and i definitely liked the overall story as a whole. Our FMC was likable and relatable. The writing was fast paced and bingable.
As a whole I think this is a pretty much textbook book for the tropes that were included. Most of the story line was predictable, which was fine. I had a good time, and it was basically a mindless read (which is good after heavier reads, not a bad thing)!
I think it wont stick with me though. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything outstanding either.
If you’re looking for:
-Fake Dating
-Accidental Marriage
-Rugby Romance
-Brother’s Best Friend
-Instalove
this will definitely be a good time for you! Def recommend if you’re looking for an easy, faced paced, enjoyable read.
Narration was done really well and they kept me engaged throughout the entire listen.

LISSSSSS! 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
Every time i pick up the next book in this series, I don’t know how it could possibly top the last and Resolute absolutely does that!
As a single mom, I have a special place in my heart for single mom romances and this was one that lands closer to the top of my list!
Liss writes in a way that makes her books absolutely so bingable! You do not want to put them down because you just fall in love with the characters. Even when our MMC was in his grumpy era, I still really enjoyed his character. Ava was the highlight of the book. I adored her cute little self and her little additions in dialogue.
I loved seeing the couples from the previous two books! It’s like catching up with long lost friends. I was worried because at 80% they were in love and super happy and i was like nooooooooo, please don’t have a fight and third act breakup! While there are happenings that i enjoyed reading, there’s no third act breakup either!
Truly this was just a joy to read. It is definitely my favorite of the series. Camila was extremely relatable and empowering.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 33%.

Tried digital first, then tried audio and unfortunately i just wasn’t invested at all. I didn’t like the FMC and i think that ultimately led to me deciding this one just isn’t for me.
The Thrashers by Julie Soto
4.0
ahhhh Julie Soto. I have a deep love for Julie’s writing style. It’s SOOO bingeable. No matter what genre she’s writing, you want to sit and devour the book in one sitting.
I wasn’t sure if this would be for me because while i like thrillers, YA thrillers are a hit or miss for me because they can sometimes just be toooo immature for my taste, but this one didn’t hit badly.
I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I was eager to turn the page and figure out what happened. I did kind of see what was coming so it wasn’t unpredictable but i don’t feel like overall it took away from the plot.
It’s not my favorite book by Julie, but if you’re a thriller girl and/or a Julie girl def don’t skip it! 😊
PS - The audio was very well done. The narrators did an outstanding job and delivering the emotions of the characters and keeping the listener engaged.

I feel really indifferent about this book, unfortunately. I was really excited to read it, it sounded really cute and i love the cover. Unfortunately, it just fell kind of flat for me.
Overall, I really loved our MCs, Ren and Kira, I loved watched them fall for each other and their overall personalities. What i was missing was growth. I feel like they really shared really the same? There wasn’t much plot here other than her wanting her company and he just basically immediately deciding to give it to her. 🤷🏼♀️
Other than that i feel like I wanted more build between them. I feel like we got some backstory and then they immediately were together and then the book was mainly smut. WHICH IS FINE if that’s what you’re wanting, but i just wanted more plot. I wanted more from the characters and the story as a whole.
Overall, it was alright. I don’t think i’ll remember much of it or it’ll stick with it. Wasn’t bad or good imo. Just was there, i enjoyed it during but just left it wanting more. 😊

The Perfect Divorce by Jeneva Rose
5.0
OHHH MY. So, i was a LITTLLEEE worried about this one because i loved The Perfect Marriage and I was concerned that this wouldn’t live up to that hype, but it absolutely did!
I really loved the various points of view in this book! It gave you such a well rounded view and made you constantly sitting on your toes to see who was actually behind everything.
I lovedddddd the ending and how everything played out. I had my jaw on the floor for the last 10% of the book - literally the entire time.
Everytime I thought I had it worked out at what was going on, i was wrong. Is the ending SOMEWHAT predictable? yes. Is it fully predictable? No. Was it still a great time the entire time? Yes.
I really just love Jeneva’s writing - it’s bingable
and easy to read and keeps you on your seat the entire time!
I even dare to say (maybe), I may have enjoyed the Perfect Divorce better than book 1! 🙈

LISTEN - this one had the most potential so far, but still left me wanting more.
I feel like if this one was a full size book and there was a twist it would have been such a good romantic suspense.
I was in it the first 50ish pages of the book, I liked the story and was for it. The MMC is kinda strange and rubbed me the wrong way, but I think that was the point.
The last 50% of the book was like 'I need to finish it and keep it novella length so lemme just end it.' The ending was super like 'what?' but no in a good way imo. I was like seriously? when we found out who was stalking her.
Overall, I'll still continue the series because I've read 3 now, I might as well, but truly these aren't anything grand and all of them have left me wanting more at this point.
