With phrases like, "...the garden of eden is burning" and "...he will only come back if I drag him behind me; a sullen Euridyce" I can't help but love this book.

Magic mechanic and lore are interesting. There is an enemies to lover trope with a dash of fake engagement. Solid Romantasy entry with cliffhanger ending. I will look for the sequel.
