GRANGER!! You did it again girl. This book was sooo good and tied together well. Answered questions from book 2 as well as created new questions. That funeral scene was everything.

** I received a ARC of this book to review **
This is the second book in the Fort Bender series (but can also be read as a standalone) I am fairly new to this author and was instantly drawn by the cover and then synopsis. This story was written sooo beautifully 🌻🍯🐻

This book is for anyone who enjoys:
πŸ’› Friends to Lovers
πŸ’› Playful banter and giggles
πŸ’› A bit of spice and everything nice πŸ˜‰
πŸ’› Praise kink
πŸ’› Sunshine and Grumpy
πŸ’› Found family

Ashlie is me, I am Ashlie. She was written so well and relatable and as someone who ignores red flags and also "gravitates towards sh*tty men like they're the center of the universe," I kept shouting "PREACH" at my Kindle, lol. I felt like @laynajameswrites was speaking to me with her words. Ashlie lives with anxiety and has a terrible case of people-pleasing-- the pressure of it all made her feel like a disappointment to her parents who wanted her to continue the family legacy. At the end of the day, Ashlie is a hopeless romantic who wants to find her person, ignoring all signs pointing to her best friend's brother 🀭

Hunter, is a non-committal playboy who is rarely seen without a woman on his arm. Through his sister, Kayla, he and Ashlie have been best friends for five years. For five years, he's been in denial about being in love with Ashlie. Maybe it's due to some battles and trauma he's faced? πŸ€”

Because of his denial about his feelings, Ashlie falls from his grasp and into the arms of Trevor, a walking green flag. While trying to fix her past issues of choosing the wrong guy, she keeps seeing Trevor because he's a safe option. Ashlie realizes he's nice and all but there is no spark, that he is not... Hunter.

Okaayyyy Book Besties, I've said enough. This book had me in my feelings, made me laugh, made me swoon, and made me anxious. Check out 'Some Kind of Forever' (Book 1: Kayla & Chase) on KU while Sunshine with You will be available Feburary 27th βœ¨πŸŒ»πŸ’›πŸ»πŸ―

I’ve been waiting for this book for a year and it was worth it. It was a very interesting case and I kept reading wondering who would slip up next. I’m so glad Wu and Vega are finally gonna explore this chemistry and tension between them.

I tend to judge books by their cover but I’m glad I was able to look past it and read this book. It was a thrilling ride from start to finish. I laughed, I got teary-eyed, I swoonedβ€” I really enjoyed this book. I love the characters in this book, they felt so real and had their flaws which made you appreciate them even more. The spice balanced out the story/plot. It wasn’t overwhelming at all. At first I didn’t think Smoke was too bad but that MF crazier than Demon (but I love both them light brights). I love how Dream really softened Demon and loved him despite his flaws. Fuck Darius Castle, Fuck Jordan & Talton Middleton, Fuck Paul & Keith and everyone else who did them dirty. They got what they deserved. Ate those 750 pages up and wanted more.
