This one is definitely dark on the trauma front… read the full trigger warning list seriously!

However, I did like how she went deep on the trauma and didn’t gloss over it. I marked it lower than the first book because the last 2/3 felt so repetitive and there was less intrigue for me. Also could have been 200 pages shorter. The first one was more intriguing and kept my attention the whole way, this one didn’t.

I’m not putting a number because I have no business reading horror. It was an intriguing + fast read though! I’m a baby and the middle scared me

This was such a fun read and perfect for spooky season romance without the spook 👻

They agree to a fake dating arrangement to secure his promotion and offers free business coaching to save her shop. Oh… and did I mention his family has a big bad love curse?
