I guess this book just wasn't for me. The main plot was interesting at first, but I didn't like the writing. Too many description and metaphors. It made it harder to visualize what was really happening. Sometimes, it felt like the author just assumed I'd have the information or I'd know what he's talking about. Overall, the plot was kinda interesting but lacking. I was expecting more. The ending was disappointing as well.
I really the writing style! Really makes you LIVE the story. I enjoyed the book and started questioning and thinking about every possibility. Although it's a similar genre to what I'm used to, it's still different in its own way, like the way she ends her books is something I hadn't yet seen before.
Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

Very simple book. A bit boring, in my opinion. We go between past and present. The past parts are the most boring parts. I don't think they were all necessary. The main plot is a good idea but could have been written differently and made better. Again, that merely my opinion, and maybe this book is just not for me. But I do feel like if some of the past parts were removed, it could have gained a few stars
Another great book from B.A. Paris. Loved it. It was a little different from her other books but I still enjoyed it. Reads very easily and quickly. The chapters are kept short and entertaining. I love her writing style and can't recommend her enough.
Well Holly Jackson did it again! A really nice read. Very captivating, kept me hooked the whole time and I went through it in no time. I really hated one character. Like REALLY hated him. Other than that, just like her other books, I highly recommend!
The plot was pretty obvious. I figured the whole thing out right from the beginning. It was still interesting and reads easily, but I can't rate this book higher because it was way too predictable.
Very nice and quick read. I love that the chapters are very short. There are plot twists in every chapter. We never know who to trust, to the last chapter. I highly recommend this book!
