I loved the character development overall. I particularly enjoyed the character arc of the MCs. However, parts felt rushed and not explained, as well as they could have been imo, particularly for the side characters. This could simply be because it is part of a series, but I feel like the world/character building would would have benefitted by having a little more focus.

I think the plot was great along with the plot twists, and I am keen to read book 2 when it is published.

The banter between the characters had me laughing in places, and the spice was nice.

As with the other books in this series, the characters are well written and relatable. I like the way they are introduced, and their character arc really does develop throughout the story. I also like that you get peek into the lives of past characters (from previous books) that I liked.

My knowledge about places in America is very limited. However, I felt that the town in which the story is set is very generic, almost cliche. That being said, it lends itself very well to the plot.

This story is written in dual POV of both the FMC & the MMC. I really enjoyed how the characters were written to complement each other, and you got a genuine snapshot of how they related to others and the world around them. Another bonus it that jt was written in first person, which is a preferred style of mine.

I feel like the writing was a little flat in places, but not necessarily boring. Some books are easy read and this us meant to be one of them.

Such an enjoyable read. Some spicy scenes but there's a really great plot line as well.

I also LOVE that it's mostly set in England

It was OK. I just found I couldn't really get into the story as I didn't care about the characters
