I really enjoyed this book. There are so many reminders of our shared humanity and how easy it is to lose sight of when we live such isolated lives. I liked seeing the garden from so many perspectives and seeing people change their minds and actively participate in their community. There are a few sentiments that rub me the wrong way, but I think this is a book I will read over and over.

I loved this! This is like a super hero origin story that reflects the Trans experience. If there are more in the series I will definitely check it out.

This was cute, but not my favorite. There are a few plot holes left and couple that got filled in too quickly for my liking.

This was a little on the slow side, but I really enjoyed the story. Watching Shiloh and Cary grow up, in the past and the present, felt so real and sad and sweet all mixed together. This is a fun twist on a second chance slow burn romance. I love emails and texts in books, and this one even had some snail mail. Rainbow has yet again made me fall in love with a slow and cozy romance. 🤎

Our two commitment averse MC's are pretty cute. Their text banter is fun, the sex is hot, and the resolution was satisfying. There were little things here and there that seemed a little out of place or not fully fleshed out, but I enjoyed it overall. I'm looking forward to the next one in the series.

I love how real all these characters feel. Halle is the over-dependable people pleasing eldest daughter, while Henry is a an anxious people pleaser of a different sort. They are both so sweet and I love how well they communicate. I love how patient they are with each other, and how much the friend group clearly cares for one another. There is still some sexy time here, but it's a lot more balanced than Icebreaker. Halle's family, especially her mom, had me ready to spit nails, and I thought her redemption arc was a little rushed. I still think both of these characters need therapy or counseling, but I love that they didn't assume the other person could "fix" them. This makes me want to go back and read Wildfire now.

This was a wild ride. Brokil was so rough in the beginning that I wasn't sure how I'd get along, but as we get into the story he turns into such a Teddy Bear. Silvyr was so strong despite what he believed, and I loved seeing him truly believe in himself. The pacing is on the slower side, but those lulls feel intentional. I loved the queer-normative environment, the all knowing healer, and how the commentary on colonialism is very clear without being too heavy handed. Fantasy does take me a little longer to read, but I would definitely try more from this author.

This was a fun spicy read. Sometimes it got a little repetitive, but I really like the MC's and adventure at the end.

Umm I wanted more from this. I was a little bored and kept zoning out. The premise was interesting, but it felt like all the story lines I latched on to just petered out.

A group of NY teenagers are planning to have the best summer ever, but their vacation is disrupted by a terrifying interaction with the supernatural. This started off on the slow side, but once it ramped up I was hooked. I absolutely love the friend group and the secondary romance is so sweet and filled with pining. The suspense had the hair on the back of my neck tingling, and while there are some graphic parts, it wasn't anything that gave me nightmares. If you're looking for thrilling queer read with strong found family themes, you should definitely pick this one up.
