I was so disgusted with Verity when she talked about her feelings and actions towards pregnancy.

I didn't enjoy how crude the characters were in this book, and it felt a bit insta-love to me.

Thank you to the authors for the e-book of Charlotte’s Blank Page by Bella Pursell and Reba Toledo. All opinions are my own.

This story follows a recent college graduate that doesn’t know what she’s doing with her life. She’s tired of listening to her parents’ demands for her future and decides that it’s time to chase her dreams, even if that means starting over in a new town with her sister by her side.

Charlotte’s Blank Page is more than just a contemporary romance; it’s about finding yourself and taking chances to follow your dreams.

While some parts of this story were cliché, I really enjoyed this story and its message of growth and hope for the future.

Gio, the love interest, was amazing! He seemed a bit too perfect at times, but I loved how well he took care of Charlotte and the other people he cared about in his life. I also appreciated how he accepted Charlotte just as she was from the first time they met.

Even though I’m older than Charlotte’s character, I could relate to feeling a bit lost when it comes to the future. I appreciated her vulnerability about her self-doubt and self-worth issues. It was beautiful to see her sister and her friends build her up when her parents and ex-boyfriend had lowered her self- esteem so much.

The romance in this was definitely a slow burn (I kept wanting them to kiss each chapter lol). It was worth it in the end though. I think having Charlotte wait to start a relationship with Gio was mature and maybe more realistic since she had just experienced a bad breakup. Gio was so patient with Lottie, and I loved how he treated her so respectfully. Their friendship throughout the book was so wholesome, and they had so many adorable moments together.

I also enjoyed the sister relationship in this book because Evie and Lottie were so supportive of each other. I loved how they communicated so well to each other and really relied on one another since they didn’t have good parents.

Overall, I would recommend this book if you enjoy cute slow burn romances or if you like seeing characters find themselves.

It wasn’t keeping my attention. Also, one of the voices that the narrator did sounded like Moaning Myrtle from Harry Potter, and I thought it a bit annoying.
