In the edition I was reading, the first 280 pages were somewhat better than the last 100 pages (the entire book was 430 pages, including index etc.) - to an extent where I'd probably have given the book 5 stars if the level hadn't dropped a bit towards the end.

I'll probably recommend this book to some of my work colleagues. It's a good book with some very valuable learnings which will change how you see the world.

Jeeves almost does not appear at all in this book, except right at the end where his services turn out to be needed - so it's not really much of a Jeeves and Wooster book. An enjoyable book, but this should definitely not be the first book in this series you read.

This is not a Jeeves and Wooster book, on account of the fact that mr. Bertram does not appear. However, Jeeves manages just fine on his own.

I actually believe I didn't think very highly of this book the last time I read it, but I found it an enjoyable read this time around.

"The one thing that was of the essence was that Boko should keep this man a thing of sweetness and light, and it was absurd to suppose that this could be done by locking him up all night in garages in the costume of Sindbad the Sailor."
