**spoiler alert**

My initial reaction to Ressurection Girls was "wow, this is dark." And the story is very heavy at the beginning. You can almost feel the weight of the characters' grief as you are reading. But as the book progresses, the weight gradually lifts thanks to a well-crafted plot.

For those that are familiar with the Manson story, and especially Helter Skelter, Hippie Cult Leader gives a lot to consider as to what really led to the murder spree 50 years ago. This new perspective will keep you thinking long after you've read the last page.

If you think the holidays are crazy with your family, try being Becky Brandon (nee Bloomwood)! Once again, Becky has found herself in a situation that she can't shop her way out of and it is wonderfully fun. This festive addition to the Shopaholic series is one you don't want to miss!

Ted Bundy's Murderous Mysteries: The Many Victims Of America's Most Infamous Serial Killer by Kevin M. Sullivan

This book is an amazing collection of first-hand accounts and picking records concerning Ted Bundy's infamous murders. Those who are very familiar with the case will find this book especially fascinating. Reading accounts made in real-time with the murders gives an interesting view of the mindset of the day. For those that are not as familiar with the case, you may want to start with the two books by the same author that came before this one as it really does close out the trilogy of information.
