I started liking Levi more and more, he’s actually quite adorable! He makes me lovesick for something like that 🥰 Beats me how, after all the nice things he’s done for her, Bee remains absolutely CLUELESS about him not hating her -hell he even tells her so many times!! 🤦🏽‍♀️

although she also refuses to acknowledge that she also feels the pull to him too, how she feel so safe and her mind always drift to him touching her.. the best romances, in my opinion!

Both declarations took my breath away; hazelwood is really good a this, I can see a slight ressemblance between Levi & adam, and that’s absolutely how I like them!! I want even more of these guys!! 🥵🥰

First and foremost, the fact that Ari also suffers from depression, is medicated & “mostly fine” like me was really cool!! I related to this part of the struggles; how even though you do are mostly fine, it just dawns on you somedays where you’re not as fine.. and some things might trigger it for a while. It’s one of our one-in-a-dozen regular thing; depression isn’t all black or all white.

Loved the spicy 🔥 We always love body positivity, and it sure was nice and different to have it the other way around, having the guy being shy of his bigger forms. Even in the midst of “going at it”, he feared that he might be too big for her, or she’d be repulsed by the sight of his belly 😢 We nearly don’t see it enough how men can be as impacted by their body image as women do..

As a big fan of the Second chance romances trope, having TWO romances for the price of one was a particular delight 👌🏼

I was in for a treat with the MC, being an unreliable narrator; which I heavily feel is also neurodivergent. Her way of thinking is clearly different than the others, also as the fact that she forgets everything as soon as they’re out of sight are clear indicators to me.

Despite it being literally a life or death situation, and even after knowing the one being the source of it, I LOVED the friendship « I’ll stand for you no matter the cost ». Maddy for Red all their lives, Arthur for Red, Red for Maddy. (Theoretically there’s also Oliver for Maddy.. but they’re siblings, and I don’t like him 😒

The one true secret they wanted, and everything else that happened after we found out was nothing that I would’ve had guessed.. and the ending letter did make me shed lots of tears.. wish that she would’ve had gone further and let us know the answer of the last question.

Above all, I loved the use of « crude wording » (fuck, etc.)
Gave an insight on why anxiety happens, the diversity of the trouble, aswell as some treatments available & little tricks.

Ce fût interessant de decouvrir des histoire true crime racontée sous la fiction; sa change des autres receuils qui rapporte les faits et enquêtes.

Jai bien aimée le petit paragraphe de fin nous dictant les informations de la disparition/meurtre véridique.

This book was SUCH. A. RIDE! There was good humor,
even after being attacked, Taylor managed to make us giggle with a joke.
How they ended up falling for each other while they SHOULD’VE had kept being without strings attached, was everything 🥰 How big buff Myles get to be super SMITTEN to this little lady, on point in the same waveleight as her, to where no matter her mood, he gets impacted by it.

I really loved how Darcy was ingrained with words, memorizing stories into her mind and getting comfort in them when everything went wrong in her daily life. Even better, she has a job in a library after school! The last scenes with the play was marvelous you definately see how she got a talent with words.

Her mother being a hoarder and her dad dissapearing on them, that’s her coping mecanism. That’s the first novel I see that include hoarders and how the people around them might feel, the shame attached to it; and I like it for it as it’s definately more common than we think!
