The book is dorable and have many laugh out load moments. Somehow the book is a slow burn but not slow
at all. Walker is a fine man but he is out of his dept
when it come to his 3 daughters and Fin is his saving grace.

They have an interesting dynamic, with Fin being the dom and Walter being the sub in the relationship. They don't have extensive conversations about what it all means they just go with the flow. Since Walter is a single dad, that lost his husband and love of his life 3 years earlier, he hasn't had much time or will to explore his sex life and what he may be interested in. There is an insecurity to Walter that is endearing and true to who his is deep down and Fin in all his glory manages to bring the true Walter forward.

But I will say that this book was a little bit all over the place.  It felt like it moved so slow and fast at the same time. I felt like the book could have gone a bit deeper into the development of the relationship. What I think some of my confusion stems from, is the way that the characters are written for each chapter. I feel like we jump back and forth and I some times loose myself in who's "character voice" I am reading. But this may also one from having read books lately that tell me at the beginning of each chapter who's voice I am reading right now.
This made my barin feel like it couldn't keep up and that frustrated me. So I enjoyed the book and I think it's funny but it also made me drag out the reading because I couldn't get into it well enough.

This may contain spoilers.

Yes yes yes!

I am happy and sad at the same time after finishing the last book in the series. And we finally got an happy ending for Hendrix.

Hendrix has been a driving side character in teh other 5 books and to finally see him in the lime light made me so happy. He is an enigma, cocky and so sure of himself but at the same time so soft and insecure in his place amongst the found family we have gotten to know.

The fact that it took 3 incredible men to make his world a bright place is just so Hendrix, he loves to love and now he has 3 people that love him and he can give his love to.

Rubin, Toby and Lyric i don't know what to say. They togheter with Hendrix complement each other perfectly and they help and uplift eachother when times get tough. Rubin is young but also jaded and afraid to enter an poly relationship because of things happening when he grew up. The same can be said about Toby, but maybe he is more afraid of loving again then the fact that they are 4 in the relationship. Lyric, as Hendrix, wants love and is not afraid of grabbing it. That dosen't mean he though that he don't have reservations.

I don't know what else to say then, read this series please. It has Found Family, so many diffrent kinks and BDSM, it has sad parts and parts where you will laugh out loud!

A short prequel and a fast read. I have read book 1 & 2 before I read the prequel but that is okey since book 3 is the one book you need the prequel for. The characters aren't to flesh out and the storyline pretty basic but it is an good indicator that Sold Blood will be something good. I am hyped to read that book now that I have read Cold Blood.

I have been waiting and waiting on Quinn and Stefan to get their shit togheter and finally we have the fruit of that wait.

The easiness, the patienc and the acceptance Stefan has with Quinn and his narcolepsy made me sob. He just want Quinn to be happy and to enjoy himself. But he also want him to realise that it is okey to ask for help and that he won't leave him for it.
In the book we have a side plot from earlier book that gets resolved and this plot gave them book even more depth.

Quinn such an strong and resilient character with the mentality that you can't stay angry at thing you have zero control over. And I love that.

Side note Hendrix is slowly becoming my favourite in the books. There is something mysterious about him.

This book was slower and more delicate then the other books in the series. I enjoyed it so much because of the slow burn and the journey Callan and Rory took me on. I feel like I have no superlatives left to say about this series and I am also sad that there is only one book left.

Colette made Callan's storyline fit so well into the My Kinky Housemate's world and the transition was seamless. It may have been a slow burn, bi-awakening story but sweet baby jesus when the spice hit it was hot.

This book is a cuddle and fluff fest and I enjoyed it so much. Theo is the perfect puppy and the way Preston takes to training him is adorable.
They have had a nice chemistry between them since the first book and the way their story went was exactly how I expected it to go.

In this book we take a deeper dive into pet play and especially puppy play since Theo is one. He educate Preston in how to train him after his former trainer abandoned him. Preston was a bithesitant at first but with some encouragement and research he took to it like a duck takes to water. Prestons dominant side helps and they have a lot of fun in and outside the bedroom.
We get characters that communicate, cuddle and thrive together.

I dont know what to say about this book more then I loved it. With the amount of work I have right now, these low angst high heat books in The Kinky Housemate series is the perfect escape.

Fraser is precious, I adore him. Beau is a bit more serious but oh what a man he is for Fraser.
Fraser is an Kinky Role Play afficionado and after a cancelled "date" he ask Beau if he is interested in some role playing and mind you this is not the first time the tango in bed together. But this is the start of the journey.

They way Beau and Fraser float between kinky sex and hard conversations are breathtaking, pun intended. This book makes me squeal and gush like a school girl. And I can't seem to stop thinking about them.

This book can be read as a stand-alone but you will enjoy is so much more if you read them in order.
