This storyline is quite beautiful. I love the themes the author weaved in the book (friendship, community, love, family).
The lore is lovely and I love the way she uses Italian throughout the book. Dante was a favorite of course, but what I loved most was that the author made me love characters I initially didn’t care to know.
I laughed a lot in this book, and I felt it deeply.
