This was a beautiful and powerful follow up to Legendborn. Picking up right after the events of book one we get to see Bree delve more into her powers and the history behind them.

I did think this fell a little into the sequel syndrome trap, but overall and especially the ending it was a fantastic read. I am interested to see if the books will continue with the vibe of a poly feel between the main 3 characters too! And  I can’t wait to see where the rest of the series goes from here!

Watching Nick and Charlie’s relationship grow is the type of representation I wish I had when I was a teen. This love story is just so much more. The open dialogue about queer safe sex, mental health, putting your self first and so much more is some to ing I think every teen, every adult needs to be reading.

I loved this volume so much!

King Arthur and the knights of the round table reimagined in this brilliant contemporary fantasy. Deonn killed it in her debut. Legendborn is an experience in itself. The magic system, politics and black history ingrained into this magical novel make it one not to miss out on.

An absolutely delicious monster romance that is sinful yet sweet and gives you that cozy feeling all at the same time.

I loved that it was based around cooking because for so many people that is their happy place! This book also hit s so many political topics so well. AND THE SPICE WAS MORE THAN EVERYTHING NICE🥵 Nix really hit this one out of the park.

Stunning, moving, and heartfelt. These letters that Kai has written are pure poetry. I was brought to tears with some of these letters, enraged by some of these letters, and seen by some of these letters. This is a books that you just want to hug after reading.

Fated mates, wolf shifters, a sleeping beauty curse gender exploration and add some spice? SIGN ME UP!

Mulford puts a beautiful new spin on an old “tail” of sleeping beauty, with twin wolf shifter as our princesses. The lore, world building and characters were so rich I didn’t want to leave the world and can’t wait to dive back in with the second book.

AK absolutely hit a chord with me and I think will with many readers with the gender expression and exploration parts of this book. There were lines and parts where I just felt fully seen and validated in myself and knew that everything I had been through as a queer person wasn’t a singular experience.

Everyone who loves fantasy and especially queer fantasy needs to pick this one up
