I liked this book, not my usual type of fiction but it was still a good enjoyable read. I found all the different characters interesting and the mix of generations set it apart from other books. There was humour throughout the book but this did not take away from the subject of suspected child abuse that was also a theme in this story.
This was a good look at families and the dynamics within them.

I had heard lots about this series and after reading the first volume I’m happy I finally picked it up. A great graphic novel and I’m interested to see where it goes in future volumes.

A stunningly beautiful story that grabbed me by the heartstrings and kept me wanting more.
I loved the characters , Shiori and her growth throughout this book was so good to read, the interactions with her brothers then later on Takkan and Magari were wonderful.
The fairytales, myths and songs woven into the story made this so joyful to read, will definitely be waiting for the next book to see where they all end up.

A good fun, easy to read and a totally different take on the old Cinderella story. I enjoyed the idea and most of the book flowed well although I did think that the ending was a little rushed.

I loved this book, why did it take me so long read it after it was recommended by a friend. I totally enjoyed the story but as it’s set in Tasmania in an area I live it just made it all the better.
The history, setting and atmosphere of the Tiers was thoroughly enjoyable to read, I could visualise the different settings so easy as the area is familiar to me, but even if you do not know Tasmania it is a wonderful thriller in every way.
Great characters, plot twists and secrets everywhere.

3 1/2 ⭐️An ok read, pretty much just a filler between bigger and better books in this series

Such a quick, fun read. From the opening sentence of “They never found the body of the first and only boy who broke my heart” to the end this was a wonderful book. Alessandra was a brilliant character, a strong determined morally grey woman who met her match in Kalias. Theirs was a roller coaster romance that could have ended very badly for either one.
This would be a fun world to revisit, maybe following what happens next and also following the side characters who were all great. This had laugh out loud moments along with the romance and intrigue of the storyline.

3 1/2 stars. This was ok but not as great as I was expecting, I thought there would be more magic, witch and demon interaction. I enjoyed the story but found it was a bit disjointed, I'm still looking forward to the sequel to see where this story goes between Emilia and Wrath, I am hopeful it will get better.
