I was giving this audiobook from the author/narrator so I want to thank them for allowing me to review this book.

Well this was so creepy. I have just started reading Horror books because I don't like horror movies but I discovered that I like Horror in my books. Anyway I listened to this while I was at work in an almost empty office that was not my best idea end yet also my best idea.
The narrator really made it creepy that I was on the edge off my seat. I felt I was in the story and that the main character was telling wat happened to her.

So if you have a spare audile point please try this book out you will want more

I want to thank Netgalley for providing this ARC for me to review for my honest review

Did I like Medea before reading this book, No.

Do I like Medea after reading this book, still no.

Well I knew what I was getting into. starting this book, Medea is and probably never will be my favorite character in the greek myth but I was ready to sort off appreciate or sympathies with her. Well this book did not help with that.
I found that Medea was really playing the look at me how bad I have things. because what all these gods do to me., yet at the same time look at me how special I'm because what the gods make me do.
Will. reading this I felt like the author should have picked a side of which way to go and not. to both.

Then why did I still give this book 3. stars because it's not a bad retelling of the myth of Medea. I even think that it's good start for getting into greek myth retellings. I think I had just a to much off a preconceived notion of Medea and I would have enjoyed it more if she was the Villain.

Any book I start is a three star and then I will at and. subtract so let's to some maths.
Start:
The beginning was a fun Ell Woods moments and. I loved it +0,5
Plot starts well Addie is getting a. bit whiny and starts to get on my nerves -0,5
They meet and Feylinis saving it a little bit +0,25
Addie gets more and more annoying -0,5
The plot and story. is not working and predictable;-0.5
End score = 2,25

Well it was just such a boring book and I was so close to DNF'ing it but my kindle said I had an hour left so I just powered through and finished it to make a rounded review but it was a struggle.

I read this book more as “ I just want to see what the fuss is about and will I dnf it if it gets out off hand”
But I truly enjoyed it. Is it ridiculously smutty and spicy yes. Was there sometimes more p*rn then plot yes. Yet still the story it self was nice enough to continue. I really wanted to know the ending.

I received a copy off this book from Netgalley but the opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed this book for what is was.

It follows the story of Pandora and Epimetheus and her Pithos (box but the jar is used which is. more correct so nice detail)
This story. about a more female empower version of this the myth which is always nice take on the greek myths.

There are some little buts for this books.
1. it tries a bit to hard to be a Jennifer Saint book
2. it feels like the myth is weirdly placed in the myth timeline

Did those things really bother my enjoyment of the book no those where just somethings that got me out of the story.

Will I buy this book to have on my greek retelling myths shelf probably

I received this book thanks to NetGalley

This story clearly has borrowed a lot from other stories like the hunger games, Greek myth and some other book I still haven’t figured out, but the most important question did I mind it. There is a simple answer to that NO.

The story was well constructed and it knew where it wanted to go.  What sometimes bothered me personally was the fact there was a lot off jumping around in the story. Because why does almost all chapters need to start in a new location and not just the change of POV.
But I understand why when I read the story about the author being dyslexic, as a fellow dyslexic I get how our brain sometimes jumps around. There was on thing that truly bothered me was that this book was marked as NA but for the most part it truly read as YA (it’s NA in the end but I was doubting for a very long time)

I’m curious of what is going to happen in the next book. Will I advise other people to read it yes
