This was my first ever sports romance and I loved it!! I wasn’t sure about this because I am 1000% not a sports person at all. Can’t play it, I don't like to watch it, but apparently I do like to read it.

This book got me into romance! I’ve never really been into rom-com stuff, but Lynn Painter’s books are amazing! I don’t want to spoil anything, so all I’m going to say is that you should read it if you haven’t already.

I also can’t wait for Nothing Like the Movies!! I can’t believe that a certain something happens, but I trust that everything is going to be ok. Otherwise, I’m suing.

I’ve tried a lot of firsts this year in the reading world, and this was the first full fantasy book that I have ever read and it got me interested in the genre! So glad it did, I love this book and genre so much!!

This was technically my first book of 2024. I happened to start it at night during NYE and finished on New Year’s Day, which is when this book takes place. I love the mystery in this book once you get to the numbers and how it leads into the next and final book, Bad Blood.
