A Serial Killer's Daughter: My Story of Faith, Love, and Overcoming by Kerri Rawson

It’s one thing to rely on religion to help yourself cope with something as horrendous as finding out your father is a serial killer, that I could understand and even support. This book, however, read more like the author believes she’s gods favorite and not was very icky as a former Christian. At one point she says she believes god has given her a sign to quit her job, and that was not the only instance where god “helped her out” in exceptionally minor ways all while seemingly ignoring that that same god did NOT help out the 10 people her father (a church leader) murdered. Of course she is not to blame for her father’s crimes but she needed several sensitivity readers to run through this before publishing cause this was not it.
