“We’re in the Wundrous Society. We can be anything we want to be!”

We follow Morrigan on her academic journey at WunSoc in this second book. I love the found family aspect and the friendships that fall but also grow through difficulties. The setting is diverse and dark, and their excursion to find the missing entities is so fun to follow. I also love how Mor’s character grows throughout the storyline, how she doesn't totter although a lot of people alienate and bully her since they thought she didn’t have any knacks. The ending is such a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to continue with the third book!!

it’s confusing and i got bored throughout the book, terlalu slow pace dan nggak enak dibaca plotnya. tapi beberapa chapter di akhir buku menyelamatkan semua storylinenya, karna akhirnya aku bisa penasaran dan semangat nyelesain bukunya.

alternate, aplikasi social media buat anak sma seakan cuman jadi media yg nggak terlalu penting ada dibuku ini, beberapa karakter pun cukup annoying untuk dibaca. tapi somehow ketiga main characternya punya line yang sama, they struggle and have a problem with their parents, mulai dari dibiarkan dan nggak diurus, dapet kekerasan fisik, nggak merasakan kasih sayang. that’s why they try to find happiness on other things and people. tapi orang-orang ini juga nggak menjamin mereka akan bahagia. at the end of the day, happiness is their responsibility to created!

“Be even greedier if you want. Happiness is enjoyed by the ones who’ve already experienced it. So make the most of it. The more you train yourself to notice your happiness, the more it becomes yours.”

this book is very calm, slow and atmospheric. I love how the story dives deeper into the characters trying to find their exciting feeling of life again after they have been through so many things. sadly I was not too fond of the 3rd person's pov, which makes the story and character feel distant to me, it would be great and more connected if the book used the first person's pov.

but I still enjoy the found family aspect and setting of this book, the writing style is also very quotable and beautiful.

it’s such a new knowledge if you want to influence other people, this book would deliver the tips. but the case felt too over analyzing for me makes me lost sometimes when i read it. also the writing style doesn’t follow any exact construct that make it easy to read

a book about how each person hit their dead-end (hopelessness) phase and how they’re trying to came out from it, with their own realizations or help of others.

my fav is the short story called ‘Mama.’ when the FMC look into the hospital building and appreciate her life, bc she knows there are people who couldn’t make out alive like she does.

i love this series so much and the way Yona and Hak’s relationship escalated is what I’m looking forward to. Also, I’m giddy for Su-Won and Riri's relationship, I sniff something good LMAO

“Death is boring. Life is much more fun. Things happen in life all the time. Unexpected things. Things you couldn’t possibly expect because they’re so very… unexpected.”

This book gives me nostalgic feeling, reading a fantasy book that is easy to understand and follow through. I love the fast-paced and the character arc. Morrigan has a special place in my heart and i just want to protect her. The trials that she went through are so much fun to read, i love the world building and all the introduction of this world, as well as the villain and the school that they’re going to enter.

I can’t wait to read the next book, i know it’s gonna be more thrilling and high-stakes and i can’t wait to read more from Jupiter's side of scenes because in this book i only have a lil bit of his work and power description, and i need more since he is one of my fav characters too.
