sorry but UGH, NO.
the mc was sooo annoying. The whole 'I'm rich' every 2 sentences was too much for me.
And I kinda understood everything about this story after, idk, 30 pages?

it was definitely a good book.
I preferred Jax and Matt's story but Finn and Beck are cute af too.
I just find it a lil boring after chapter 18 and it was difficult to finish it for me.
Otherwise, i loved it. Healthy communication is sooo important to me. especially in stories like this.

w o w.
did I expected this? no. I honestly expected a lot of angst at some point and a wattpad-y vibes.
Instead i got a cute found family, chaotic friendships, love and two amazing main characters.
A big yes from me.
Yes for the styles, the writing and the healthy communication.
Yes for their relationship, yes for their sweet moment, yes for literally everything.
I kicked my feet and giggled so much i thought I was going crazy.
Literally not words beside: AW, CUTIES. YES.

I gotta say, Dark Romance really isn't for me so I guess it's on me for not liking it that much.
I was between cringing and awing most of the time.
I'm not gonna comment on the dark stuff bc, again, it's on me.
The disappointed part was the plot. It wasn't there and I still don't understand why the other characters are around. They're there, they mingle, play match-maker while they're kinda sick but that's it. They don't have a role or, at least, I don't feel like they do.
I wanted more plot honestly. I don't know, at the end of all of this I'm just confused.

Meh.
I was hoping to read an actual retelling of Hades x Persephone's brother story, instead i had vampires, elves and an annoying human.
I was confused till page 60 at least.
The characters had great attitudes and descriptions, still i feel like they miss something. The passage from disdain to love was very abrupt. Arlo went to knife on throat to full make out session in half a page.
I'm confused, i didn't grasp the romance. I didn't understand half the story and i was mostly bored.
Arlo didn't seem to actually love him, more like lust + 'eh, he's there. he needs love, I'll give it to him'.
Same from Faerin that probably loved him simply because Arlo was the only one who didn't died at his touch.
The story needed more time, more plot and especially a lil bit of action (that was all concentrated in the last 30 pages or something).
It's a big meh for me and im sorry because i was excited at the original plot.

Yes yes yes. I asked and Apollo delivered. He's groping, bit by bit, and seeing him doing so makes me cry. I love him, i love Meg and i love all the characters R.R. wrote.
I'm still bitter af about Caleo, a big no no for me but it's okay. All the others can help me feel better.
I'm literally vibrating with excitement for the next book.
and Apollo talking about Leto? the song? Leto and Zeus' story? goooood.

A good book, not the best out there but they were hella cute.
Finally real enemies to lovers and i loved how their personality didn't drastically changed when they left back the enemy parts. Its still them but it's more like a game than actually rivalry. The banters, flirts and hate kisses were on top.
I liked their story, really, but toward the end it felt summarised. It was a little to easy.

i did not expected this but did I loved it? Yes.
Apollo was so full of himself that i loved you, you could feel how little he was changing and i know he will be a better father and a better man, or god in his case.
I loved him with his kids and i loved the relationship with Meg. Platonic affection/found family is my guilty pleasure.
This is gonna be really good.
Special mention to my boys Nico and Will who appeared for a total of 8 sentences and had me in chokehold.
loved this. <3
