Not a great start, I must say.
The book was almost 400 pages of repeating the same thing over and over.
The character fell a bit flat.
The story started to be interesting in the last 50 pages where we actually have something. It even leaves you curious at the end but for now, I do not particularly care.
I'll read the next one, hoping to have more because beside some cute moments, some soft laughs and a lot of supposed angst (supposed, because not actually knowing the characters, I didn't feel sad or impressed) this book gave me almost nothing.

Yeah...no.
The ending was pretty rushed and the confession was pretty much unsatisfying. The whole story had a great slow burn but this, this is just ridiculous.
It was way too underwhelming.

def best of all the ones I've read till now.
the story is finally taking a good pace, the characters and interactions are great and wwx is finally not in denial.
can't wait to see how they'll finally pull their heads out of their asses.

me and mdzs have a weird relationship. I hate it and love it.
sometimes I feel like the flashbacks are too long, others like they're too short. I always have mixed feelings but I still can't help but go back.
LWJ and WWX are such weird couple tho. Their relationship is so deep and complicated that it fascinates and annoys me at times.
def better than the others 2 books.

did I enjoyed reading it? yes.
is it a good book? no. not at all.
it's basically plotless and what little plot we have, it has ridiculous resolution.
The story should be about 7 characters but let's be real, It's Fox's story. The others are there, as a treat, but no real reason.
For the first time, I wished for all the couples to not end up together.
Cal and Mayra are basically already together and in love but we see so little of them that honestly, why? yes, lovey-dovey, but I felt nothing.
Cal is really useless which I find irritating. He was added between some scenes (as if saying, yes, he is here) but did nothing. He had a great concept and so did Mayra (an angel and a reaper having swapping personality? nice) but were wasted.
Vi and Tom had a great start, and so did Isis, but they're all basically forgotten around page 200 and thrown there just to remind us that they're still present. What's the point of their endgame?
Brandt and Fox had a great tragic story but all the crap about forgiveness just to have them back together was not it. Fox should be alone, living his mortal life and not depending on a man who gambled it. wtf. t o x i c.
Brandt? blund. not for me.
All the villains and side characters were ridiculous, a parody and i find it irritating. Wtf is with Death? Raphael and Gabriel? fuck them.
Volos had the capacity of losing in about 30 seconds and all that trouble to have Isis be like "Wait, I can just stop him with a snap of finger".
There was so much that could have been done but in the end, it was disappointing. The author doesn't know how to handle more than 1 character and wrote a confusing book till, idk, page 270? bah.

this one was mostly a no-no for me.
it felt so dragged and almost boring, I'm sure it was just a way to connect to the next one and have them being closer + start to dip a bit into the plot.
WWX is still best boy.

Weirdly enough, i /loved/ It.
It has a refreshing male character who's not a red flag. A respectful love story and side deep stories.
I loved their story, their dynamics and how real they feel.
They act and think like someone their age.
Sure, it's overly positive and probably would never have such a resolution in real life but who cares? nice.
