All I'm going to say is: GO FRANK. GO BABY.
i was F E R A L over him. I loved him, i loved how he was portraited. Everything.
The book was cute, i laughed and cried a lot.
I'm surprise in finding myself being absolutely neutral about everyone but Frank but it is what it is.
I loved Nico too, tho. He had a lot going on, I just wished to see something more.
I don't know what I want but i know that i wanted more. We are at the 4th book and something is missing, maybe the friendship between people? idk, I don't feel the connections between them. But it's probably a me thing.

oh my god??? We're finally diving into the story with our 7 semi-gods and i love it.
I loved their dynamic and the conflicts.

I feel like Leo/Frank friendship has great potential and the same for Jason/Percy.

I personally prefer Jason/Piper as a platonic thing, I don't see much romance, but their moments where important to understand their characters and way of thinking.

Hazel was a meh in this book. I don't like how she was used for a love triangle but she's still super OK.

I missed Annabeth and Percy and R.R. delivered sooo well. Their moments had me kicking my feet and giggling. You can see how much they've grown and how well they work together.

The story paced quickly and was  well written.
I didn't particularly like the scene about Percy, the pizza etc bc it had a lot of disinformation but for the rest, I was completely hooked.

It's honestly becoming more and more interesting.

Hoping to see more of Frank and Leo friendship, I'm gonna start immediately te next book.
Especially since we're left with /that/ ending and we finally have Nico <3.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.
Honestly a big no for me.
The plot was cute, I'm super interested about the story of the knights of the roundtable but this book wasn't for me.

It was slow, I couldn't bring myself to like the characters or the story and I was sooo confused.
Not even the infodumps (that I kinda hate) helped me. At all.

Bree seemed to understand everything in like 2 seconds, I wasn't as lucky.

The side characters are flat, there but for what? till now, no reason.

I could name a /lot/ of books and films that had similar plot and it felt wrong. It's almost as if I was reading a mix of shadowhunters, percy Jackson and some Disney channel movie.
Not for me, at all. Especially since it felt like a copy of the copy.

I still not understand how Bree could trust Nick in like 2 hours and how everything seemed to fell right into her lap. How lucky, my girl, especially since you took like, idk, a 10 min research on Google to find what you needed.

The only thing I actually liked it was the critics to the society and the way black people are viewed. Only interesting thing, really, but unfortunately it wasn't enough to have my attention.

I wasn't sure tbh. The start wasn't really a big wow for me and I wasn't completely feeling it till the half of the book but, god, it was worth it. I cried, i laughed and i enjoyed the book and the story so much.
worth every single second of my time.

i liked it better than the first one.
Frank stole my heart and i can sense something really good it's about to happen.
I cant wait to see Annabeth and Percy together again and i know something is cooking for Leo/Hazel/Frank. We have a lot to unpack and this book prepared everything for a good, real good, adventure.
It was kinda slow at start, same as the other one, but with Percy everything is better and i like him more than Jason or Piper.
Leo, tho, was a sweetheart and i wanna see him interact with my other baby.
In the end, the book was nice and made me really curious on what's about to happen.

it is definitely better than the second book but the first 300/350 pages were a P a i n. i don't understand why C.C. drives her books so much, it's almost as if she had to write such long books for a reason even tho there isn't one. In the complex, i kinda enjoyed. I finally felt the connections between the characters and i started to like Lucie again.
In the first half of the book i wanted to kms: Cordelia was whiny, James was really really boring and Lucie was testing my patience. In the end, i loved em more than before. I love how their relationships developed, all of the group.
I loved Matthew with all my heart and him and Alastair destroyed me bc i could really understand how they felt. I loved their growth and i loved the conversations between Alastair and Tom (even tho i still don't understand when and how they fell in love).
So, yes, in the end it was nice. Not her best work but definitely better than expected.

It's incredible how i was curious about this book, after the first one, and how disappointed i am.
i can't feel the bond between characters, i can't feel anything.
I wanted more of Alastair and Thomas, their moment felt cut short.  i can't really understand what Alastair is feeling and especially why, since they shared like 2 days in paris years ago.
Lucie was kinda annoying, Cornelia and James are supposed to be a slow burn full of desire but i was bored reading about them. Christopher doesn't have a personality, he's flat i feel like he deserves more. The characters are there, yes, but they seem shallow. Flat, as if they're just filling space. I'm weirded out by Jesse and Lucie. Matthew deserves more and i don't think this book should have a love triangle. He should work on himself, he doesn't need love (not romantic one), he needs friends and people who are willing to listen to him. I don't find really appealing the idea of him being in love with Cornelia. They could had have an amazing platonic relationship, navigating pain together but not how i feel C.C. wrote in the third book (I'll read it, hoping I'm wrong). now, the book wasn't bad (tda, the previous saga, was almost painful and this one is so much better) but where's the action? where are the battles or simply where's the plot and why is it so slow? for the first 200 pages, i wanted to sleep. Too much unusefull pages filled with nothing. I wanted more introspection, more something. I'm hoping for more, in the final one. I'm hoping for more bonds, more talks, more feelings but especially an entertaining, and well written, plot.
+ i don't understand how Lucie and Cornelia could become parabatai. their friendship is so empty. There's nothing even similar to the amazing parabati bond Will and Jem had. Even Alec and Jace had more touching moments.
I can forgive Matthew and james simply because James was being manipulated, so he wasn't himself and i believe that's the reason why their parabatai bond, as well, was simply mentioned but never /felt/.
